On Thursday, April 17, former Lewis County High School standouts Faith Heater and Makenzie Gregory’s current college team, the Davis & Elkins Senators, lost 11-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Charleston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Joni Smith Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Senators’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 1 p.m. at Joni Smith Field against West Virginia State Yellow Jackets.
