On Saturday, April 26, former Nicholas County High School standout Gabrielle Smith’s current college team, the Glenville State Pioneers, won 3-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats.

The game took place at Sue Morris Sports Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 12 p.m. at Moyer Sports Complex against Charleston Golden Eagles.
