On Friday, Feb. 28, former Lewis County High School standout Emily Cole’s current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The game took place at Love’s Field. This was their first matchup against the Sooners this season.

The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 6 p.m. at Love’s Field against Oklahoma Sooners.
