On Saturday, March 8, former Lewis County High School standout Emily Cole’s current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, won 13-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at Dot Hicks Field. This was their first matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Dot Hicks Field against Buffalo Bulls.
