The Bethany College men's soccer team hosted PAC foe Waynesburg University Yellow Jackets Wednesday evening. The Bison cruised to a 6-0 win over the Yellow Jackets.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Fausto Gionchetti scored the first goal of the match in the 10th minute of the match.
- The Bison doubled their score after Sylvanus Foday found the back of the net in the 32nd minute.
- Four minutes later, Gionchetti scored his second goal of the match. The Bison led 3-0 at the half.
- In the second half, Gionchetti completed the hat trick scoring in the 63rd minute.
- Nathan Greaves and Jack Sella scored to give the Bison a 6-0 win.
- Bethany held the shot advantage, 24-11.
- Matteo Pintus tallied five saves.
