Webster County had unemployment rate of 14% in 2021

Webster County recorded an unemployment rate of 14% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 409 people out of the 8,415 living in Webster County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Webster County has increased compared to the 11.8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Webster County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.4%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
