Republican incumbent Eric Nelson has won his re-election bid for House District 35, defeating Democratic opponent Andrew Robinson.
Nelson expressed gratitude on his Facebook page on Nov. 5.
“Many thanks for the tremendous support this election! Spent today showing my appreciation in various areas of the 17th district. I look forward to representing Kanawha County in the WV Senate for the next four years. I welcome your contacting me with issues or questions that are important to you. Again, I’m honored to have earned your support.”
